We’re gearing up for a busy few weeks next month as we prepare and present “New Traditions,” the 2012 Chamber Music America New Jazz Works commission that Andrew has been writing for the past year or so! It’s a suite of compositions each one of which is based on a specific traditional song re-manipulated in a contemporary context – exploring new ways of integrating and exploring the boundaries between musical traditions.
