We had a great time at Jazz Alley last month, it was a pleasure to play at this well-established and amazing venue for almost 600 people! As I mentioned in an earlier post, we’re about to take some time off from performing to work on a new commission from Chamber Music America which we’ll be premiering next year.
Meanwhile we’re playing three shows this weekend in the Northwest kicking off tonight at Willamette University in Salem, OR. We’ll be doing a clinic at 3 pm and a concert with the student ensemble opening at 7:30.
Tomorrow night we’ll be at Empty Sea Studios, a wonderful little converted crafstman house in Seattle. This show will also be webcast in HD, the sound and picture engineering are really worth the $5 and we encourage you to tune in wherever you are!
We’ll finish it up with a hit at Traditions in Olympia, WA, one of our favorite venues for its great vibe and always welcoming audience.
